SELR #421

Larry was turned in by his owners due to their inability to obtain winter hay. He is relatively skittish with people although he will follow and come in closer when your back is turned. Altho there has been no aggression, we are watching him closely to make certain he can be trusted. Gelded 10/10/07. Larry is white with a brown blanket; medium wool. A rather small statured guy. He is estimated to be around 3 years old.

Larry is a great guard - he is very alert and will not let anything into his pasture. He is exceedingly dog aggressive.

SELR # 422

Melvin was pastured in a field with an open female and another intact male. Needless to say, he was fighting with the other male. All of the llamas were bred by the owner but never vetted and never named. He is estimated to be around 4 years of age.

Gelded 10/28/07. Upon gelding it was found that Larry had suffered "field surgery" on one testicle some time in the past , thanks to the other male.

Melvin is a nice guy and easily handled altho he is still very uncertain in regards to haltering and leading, having never experienced anything like that in his life.
